Joseph joined the financial services industry in 2012 after a previous incarnation as an architect. He wanted a career where he could make a difference in people’s lives and has found it in wealth management. He is passionate about helping his clients understand the often overly complex financial world and provide them personalized and practical advice. Furthermore, he specializes in helping small and growing business owners with both their family and business needs.
Joe carries the Series 7 and 66 as well as his life-insurance license. He has a BA from Truman State University as well as a Master’s degree from the University of Toronto.
He is heavily involved in the local “Startup” community, providing guidance and mentoring to local companies. He is one of the organizers of 1 Million Cups, is a mentor for ITEN, helping startups with their finances as well as how to pitch their companies properly.
Beyond that Joe is the founder and former head coach for St. Louis U. High’s varsity rugby team from 2010-2018, while he is now an assistant coach. He is an avid sports fan of not only rugby, but hockey and baseball. Joe spends his free time reading, writing, golfing and hiking with his wife, Erin. However, he also has a less than one year old, Ian, so he doesn't have much free-time. He is also an avid, albeit slightly inept gardener. He is soon to be a published author of historical fiction. Most of all, he enjoys quiet nights at home with his wife and son.
